Co-Founder & Lead Biblical Counselor
He has a particular burden for men who are battling habitual sin and addiction, believing that true and lasting freedom is found not in behavior modification alone, but in heart transformation through repentance, renewed thinking, and obedience to Christ. His approach emphasizes spiritual leadership, accountability, and the pursuit of maturity in Christ.
In addition to working with men, he provides biblical counseling for married and engaged couples, and for those pursuing marriage who desire a strong, Christ-centered foundation. Couples counseling at Anchored Faith is conducted as a husband-and-wife team, allowing both biblical leadership and biblical wisdom to be brought into the counseling process. Whether addressing conflict, communication, or preparation for covenant commitment, he seeks to help couples understand biblical roles, confront heart-level issues, and cultivate unity that reflects Christ and His Church.
His aim in every session is to proclaim Christ, apply Scripture carefully, and guide individuals and couples toward steadfast faith and enduring hope.
Co-Founder & Associate Biblical Counselor
April is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling at Liberty University and serves alongside her husband at Anchored Faith Biblical Counseling. Her training and study are grounded in the conviction that Scripture is fully sufficient to address the deepest struggles of the human heart and to bring lasting hope through Christ.
She has a particular burden for women and teen girls who are wrestling with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and questions of identity and worth. With compassion and biblical clarity, she seeks to help them understand their identity in Christ, renew their minds with truth, and grow in steadfast faith even in seasons of suffering. She desires to guide young women toward stability, discernment, and confidence rooted not in circumstance, but in the unchanging character of God.
In addition to individual counseling for women and teen girls, she serves as a co-counselor alongside her husband in all couples counseling. Together, they bring both biblical leadership and biblical wisdom into the counseling process, helping couples address heart-level conflict, strengthen communication, and pursue unity that reflects Christ and His Church.
Her aim is not merely emotional relief, but enduring transformation through repentance, obedience, and a deepening trust in God’s sovereign grace.
